then engine gave out tonight after my third run at englishtown. ran 14.3, 14.4, 13.8. had to play with suspension. car didn't lean out just 100K + mile engine and apex seals wore out. no biggie. i will have my FD back very soon. then i'm gonna fix the TII the way it deserves to be, street port, paint job, fix body, etc, etc. project # 2
for now i have to concentrate on my FD

Sucks man. But seriously, what do you expect when you start pushing a car thats been stock all its like and probably had poor maintainance? At least it didn't cost too much, and ran great for what it was.

Yo,
Having an FD to fall back on is a good thing?
*coughcough*
Good luck man! Something funny I read in the 3rd Gen forum:
What does FD stand for?
Funds Dumpster.
*grin*

Vosko wasn't the only one with misfortune at e-town
I also blew up my brand new engine on my second run. Well looks like I had massive main bearing failure which blew up the engine. Engine sounds like it hammering away itself, very nasty. Looks like i'm getting a j-spec engine for now. The warranty on the new engine is voided now
