TII or NA?
Hi I'm planning on buying FC for project car and I have limited budget, so which way is better? buy stock TII or go for JDM swaping the cheap NA?

If you are on a budget, go with the NA. If you are on a budget and have to have a turbo, get a TII. There is a lot involved in putting a turbo engine in an NA and your better of getting one that already had the turbo engine in it.
Just so you know, tight budgets and turbo rotaries lead to blown engines. Do not skimp when you build motors or you will just end up spending more when you have to rebuild the motor again. If you don't have the money to do it right, wait until you do instead of going cheap.

Dude, first off, SEARCH, this topic has been coverd about a billion times. Research both cars, learn all you can about them, read the FSM even, and then the FAQ section on here. Read other member's posts about their problems and get an idea of what you are getting into.
Either car is as reliable as you make it, just make sure you know what your getting yourself into before you go laying the cash down.
For $4-5k you should be able to find a suitable Turbo II that is in decent to good condition, most likely with a rebuilt motor even. If your planning on spending that kind of money though, why not get a TII with a blown motor, and then use the excess money to have the motor rebuilt, and get new items such as a clutch, hoses, etc. This way you start fresh with a new motor. That way if you **** it up its your fault..

I don't want perfect condition car, because you learn by fixing the old part out, and i'm not talking about 5k for the car. i'm talking about 5k to make decent condition so i can add mods in there, and with 3k only things you can do to make your car stand out is rims, suspension, and body paint.

the t2 is not just the engine. there be other things such as transmission, lsd, etc. Unless all you're looking for is stock turbo2 power level in your NA. And you like spending extra time and money. Then the NA with a turbo swap is for you.
