MOP interchangability

I am going to be going to a Haltech E6X pretty soon and I was wondering if I could put a mechanical (S4) MOP on S5 N/A front cover? I just don't want to have to worry about mixing 2 cycle. Does anybody know if this will work?

No, not with serious custom work.
It's easier to just switch front covers and slap on the S4 OMP.
Why not eliminate all that crap and just premix?

So if I get a hold of a S4 front cover will all my S5 accessory brackets and accosiated parts just go on? This was just a thought I will probably end up premixing, but if the S4 MOP would work I would like to try it.

It's not really that simple.
You'd need to rig something with the TB, as the linkage on the S4 goes from OMP to TB.
I have no clue how to do this, but you'll need to rig this up, as your S5 TB uses a double TPS, which is not easily retrofitted onto the S4 TB.
It's getting messier and messier as you start to look into the details of this "conversion", and I'd still recommend pre-mixing.

Else, go with a Haltech E11V2...
Connect the OMP to it...
Program the Haltech E11V2 to handle the OMP duties...

Or the cheaper E8, which can also control the S5 OMP.

ok ok dumb idea. I think I am pretty much sold on the premix anyway. Thanks for pushing off the fence..... to the premix side.
