S5 upper is cheaper than S4 lower. And adapter plates aren't cheap.

S5 LIM has larger ports that are meant to mate with the larger s5 T2 irons. You can see the differences if you compare the two LIM gaskets. The s5 UIM also has longer runners compared to the s4.

If you plan on keeping the OMP, you have to switch to the S4 front cover. Otherwise, you can premix.

So I dont have to get the front cover then I can just get a block off plate and not worry about that part of the swap, Coo!!! NOW let me try this again!!! WILL A S4 TB FIT WITH ALL ELECTRONICS SENSORS TPS FIT ON A S5 UIM???

Will a complete s4 turbo TB assembly bolt up to an s5 turbo UIM? Yes. That's my setup right now actually. You will have to back off one of the studs some to get the nut on there. And the JDM S5 UIM's have a different bracket for the throttle cable. You may need to do some rigging to make a JDM manifold work. I know the N/A throttle cable is different from the turbo but I'm not sure how that changes the situation. I had to grind down part of the cruise control cable (I wanted to keep cruise), grind out parts of the bracket for the throttle cable, and adjust the nuts carefully.

In that pic I have an modified s4 TB bolted up to an s5 UIM. s4 TPS and OMP are installed, as well as coolant hoses.

Also note that the S5 UIM uses a longer center bolt than the s4. You'll have to get it from the dealer. I think the s4 is something like 115mm long and the s5 is 135mm.

Thanks for the info arghx for that info I will keep that in mind, this car is trippin me out I've spent more on it unemplyed than when I was working and I'm constantly gettin something for her cause she's startin to act stupid on me lately with the Aux. Ports both crapped out on me after I took off my header (Wired open or zip tied lol) they dont wanna any more and I feel the power loss. So I'm goin N/A turbo.
