I also had a really bad experience with them. I ordered a s5 and they sent me a
s4. I called and they pretty much refused to deal with it saying that The Rotary Doctor didnt know the difference or me even though there are many. I ended up getting all of my money back except $350 but I had to do that through Paypal. The motor also looked like **** and probly was blown. I would never do buisness with them or recommend them in any type of way. Thanks

wow, i hope i dident get screwed.

i just got a front clip from them, so far everything has been good, the front half of the car i got is is far better shape than my whole car, the turbo has no chunks missing, no play in the shaft, no water in the ic, no rust on the plugs, and has 6 good even strong puffs on the motor.

i wont know for shure until i get the motor into the car and do a proper compression check.

and fwiw, their was no coolant in the oil pan or cooler, and no currosion in the radiator.

but if they pulled **** like not answering my calls, i would go up 2 canada and beat some canuck ***, and get my dollars refunded, if not at least make my point and stay in canadian jail for a few days......

thats just me, ill figure out for shure once i cheak the compression

Yeah we had some words thats for sure. I even checked plane ticket prices but ended up getting most my money back through paypal and even kept the motor after they didnt want to come get it.

I'm local, so if anyone's coming over, I'll be your GPS.

Why can't you check compression now? As long as you have some booster wires, and the starter bolted to the bellhousing, you can do it (unless you don't have the tranny in the car).

Salvage parts bought long distance are a crap shoot.
Having a personal visit, a local scout, or at least pictures of the exact unit you're getting helps.
Shopping damage is often an issue you just have to allow for.

When I bought a J-spec S5 turbo, I looked it over at the dealer's shop & transported it myself.

I was going to replace my motor with a 13bt from them and emailed them asking some questions. I never heard anything back from them so I decided to do the 20b swap with a motor from somewhere else. So I do the 20b and everything that goes with it, finally get the car running and tuned (2 1/2 months), get the car home and check my email.... Tiger JUST emailed me back that day with a response to my questions. Crazy huh? Almost 3 months to answer a question.
