Thottle Body Porting

So my AWS hose breaks the other day and to replace it I needed to take off the throttle body. So while that was off I decided to do the tb mod even though the car is an n/a. Since I was doing the TB mod I figured I might as well go all the way and port it while I was at it. Well an hour and four dremmel bits later I was going nowhere fast.

What do you guys use for porting? The aluminum is melting on the bits and ruining them. I've tried the stone, diamond, saw blade, and a jagged metal one and they all fill up. Do I need to be using a different tool? Disk sander? I'm lost.

My other question, if I half *** ported the TB and reinstalled it, would it yeild negative results?

thanks and please help me out, I don't have a car until this is finished so I need some quick answers

there is a carbide bit for aluminum and other soft metals. it kinda looks like a roto-zip bit, and it worked great.

Another quick question... All the write ups for the mod are for the turbo model. What vacuum lines do I cap off for this setup? So far I capped the one on the bottle of the TB and the one that looks like it when to the cruise control/dash pot

ya just remove the secondary throttle plates and whats on the end of both... cap them with jb weld or tap them, throw away those lines loop the coolant hose from the BAC to the other one on the firewall side of the TB and thats pretty much it.... look at my TB mod in my sig... do that and you will love it!!!!
