for those who have read the voltage on the AFM when driving
just curious as to what readings you guys get at what speed/gear
all I really can remember off the top of my head is idle is around 2.45-2.53v
can get some more numbers though if you guys want to throw some out there
and is there any way to tell how much gas you are really using
you know something like figuring out the duty cycle on the injectors or something like that

If you have accurate injector flow data, the measured fuel pump pressure and the flow vs. pressure chart for the pump, you could calculate a close enough figure for fuel flow from injector pulsewidth and rpm. Otherwise no...

There's any number of digital multimeters out there that measure the duty cycle. Fluke 88 is a fine example.
But the other day I was in Radio Shack and I saw a meter that measured duty cycle and the price was just sixty bucks.
Just buy the meter and back probe one of the primary injector wires at the ECU, put the meter on duty cycle and go driving. A good meter will show the duty cycle and also the ms the injector is open.
A more useful use of the duty cycle feature is to monitor your bac to see if its duty cycle is working/erratic/what ever.
