thinking on getting a rx7 need help
well today i looked at rx7 and it was nice 98 k on it
but when i looked at it fully
i saw some thing i did not like
i poped of the oil cap and saw white crap under it then i pulled the dip still saw fresh oil and white cap again then i looked in the over flow and saw that there was to mee looked like oil just bit thou on the top of the water
i know in v baste motors that is very bad thing tell that you may have cracked haed or blow head gasket
so in rx7 trems does that mean the seal are gone or some thing
plz reply back whould really like to hear what i should look for and stuff

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
its common in cooler climates to have condensation build up under the cap. Having it there should not rule out buying the car.
A compression test would be prudent.
If there is a concern about the cooling system leaking (which if it is just a little build up under the cap and no smoke I wouldn't worry) then just get the cooling system pressure tested.
