Dude, i may sound like a Dick, But Search, it is there for a reason. Besides you will find much more info on this topic, by searching, than what varios ppl would put into the thread. Unless of course Scathart (sp) decided to give you some info.

Id suggest a Nitrous Express wet kit. Its a little harder to set up than Zex, and a little more expensive. But NX is better for higher jet applications. Most people who use Zex either get bored of nitrous and sell their kit or sell it and buy a good one. There is someone on here who lives in BC named scarthcat or something. He is making a wet nitrous kit specifically designed for Rx7's. Ive talked with him a few times and it sounds like a really good kit. I might be buying one from him once I get my turbo setup dialed in.

Yo.

"Best" is undefinable. However, both Holley-Brand NOS and NX are good kits.

Performance numbers... depends on your mods. I added up to 280 hp at the push of a button. That enough?

And yes, I am making a kit. A good kit.

anyone see that RSX in Sport Compact that had the nitrous inject from 5000rpm up??

of course they built the engine up to handle it, they dyno'd it at 177fwhp off it and 270fwhp on nos.

think about it, mash throttle hits 5000rpm..tirres explode into smoke and your catch 2nd still spinning , grabs and keeps accelerating... yeye.

Or just get a turbo car

That is very common and very easy to set-up.
And it's pretty easy to break the tires loose with a big shot.

*sigh*
Please refer to any facial tissue other than Kleenux specific brand as such.

Go hang around the track and you'll realise that even since the 70's that NOS has referred to Nitrous Oxide gas, and not just the Holley brand.

What a waste of bandwidth. Keep this bullshit in the lounge.

Not much new... study the current set-up, running into a bit of a worry keeping the stock vacuum lines running through the black spacer. Might have to cut one apart and remake it out of CF.

Wow scathcart! Thanks for pointing that out about tissues. But thats screwed up you pointed mine out and not rx-7 impreza's coment. But hey you know what? Thats ok, And as far as hanging out at the track, I do and have since i was little, And i know people that run in the 7-8 second range that use 250-400 hp shots of N.o.s. on there cars and have been using it for a while. And they feel the same way about people calling it nos

Impreza's comment was an inside joke directed towards me, something made off-reference since we talk about his up-and-coming nitrous oxide system outside the forum quite a bit. You can tell this since it is in quotations.

As for the track, when Nitrous Oxide started becoming used in muscle cars in the 70's, NOS become a universally accepted word for any system of nitrous oxide. Talk to some of the racer's in their 40's.

It's really sad that in every nitrous thread we have someone come in and try to make some glib or clever comment (NAWS!) either about nitrous or its accepted use of the word. The joke is old, guy's. It's not funny, it's not clever; it's just repetetive and tacky. Let it die.

As for referring to it as NOS... Pray-tell you would never use any kind of accepted brand name in your other speech, such as posi for LSD, xerox for photocopy, or kleenux for facial tissue.

I can just picture a dinner at Chris's house: "Would anyone like some artificially fruit-flavoured gelatin dessert?" (Can't call it Jello, after all)...

And as long as we are bitching about the use of English, mind telling me what "defitition" means? Or "coment"? Or how about the proper use of the homonym "their"?
