thermostat housing replacement?

Where can I get the housing that connects themostat housing and coolant filler to radiator?

Mine has a stripped screw in the coolant housing neck bolt hole, pretty thin aluminum left to retap.

Thanks.

Mazdatrix or your local mazda dealer.

generally you want to avoid used thermostat housings, as they weaken with age

Thanks, I'll try calling Mazdatrix, did not see it in thier catalog or online though. I can put a screw and nut but rather do it right. OEM Screws look like they are aluminum, is it o.k. to use steel screws?

Good question, also are all S4 NA and turbo's housings interchangeable? In case my local idiot Mazda dealer says they can't get someone for an '88 maybe I can get a '91 housing.

To get stock parts use mazdaformance.com because they are always cheaper on stock parts.
