Is there a diff b/w J-spec and USDM LIM?

I'm looking for a new LIM for my S5 TII and there is a guy parting out his car that is close to where I live, but its a j-spec motor and I'm not sure if there is any difference b/w the J-spec and the USDM.

All of my emmissions have been removed if that makes any difference.

Any quick responses would be great.

If you already have no emmisions than I doubt you will have any issue on the LIM as long as you are swaping a S5 for an S5.

J-spec one does not have a place in the casting for the cold start fluid injection system

I don't know if it's the same on S4's as it is on S5's, but the EGR valve is located on the USDM LIM, on the JDM there is no place for an EGR valve. For turbo's specifically as N/A's are on the actual block..

My S5 J-spec LIM has a place for EGR

intresting as the S4 Jspec does not have an EGR, and the S5 USspec does not have a EGR

Well, like I said, all emmissions have been removed as well as the cold start assist as I have a modded TB. The one I'm looking at is from an S5 and I have an S5 so according to what I'm reading it sounds like it will work.

Anyone else?

It'll work fine. The only difference is the lack of sub-zero start assist.
