I finally pulled off my uim and lim so I can pull out an old injector that was missing a cap. (little did I know the cap on the end of the injector is actually important.)

I want to test the wires running from the ecu to the injectors but i dont know what to look for.

 

Check for high resistance between the pins on the plug and the connections at the ECU. You'll need a wiring diagram for this. Also, with the key in the IGN position, one pin on each injector should show +12V (I believe the wire is black w/yellow stripe, but I could be mistaken).
