Tech advice Re: 5th 6th ports

Hi, I got a 89 TurboII 13bt, pretty sure theres been a lot of threads about this but need to know if my car is a 6port motor and i've heard different things on how these ports are activated, in regards to air pump, exh. press. etc.. I wish to remove my air pump how will this effect my perf. and If the 6port is activated by exh. press. will my 3" exh be affecting it... really need some clear advice regarding this and sorry if this info has been posted up b4, if someone can tell me the thread link it would be much appreciated. Cheers!

you have a 4 port turbo motor.

On S5 N/A models (89-91), the 5th and 6th ports are opened by the airpump. On S4 models (86-88), the ports are opened by back pressure from the exhaust.

Were 9 thread posts really necessary? Couldn't you wait a few minutes until the forum responded properly instead of double posting? jeez...you took up half the 2nd gen section with this ****.

Just a LITTLE searching/reading would have told you that all turbos are 4 port, all nonturbos are 6 port. You don't have it to worry about, you can remove all your emissions without any problems.
