Nice job!! What method are you planning on using to fill the holes where the throttle plate rod used to be?

What is that hole right at the top of the throttle body for? I saw it the other day and I couldnt remember what it went to on the car and the car and the throttlebody are about 5 miles apart right now so I cant run out and check.

Im pretty sure that hole is where the air at idle comes in. In there is the adjustment valve (screw on the top) to adjust the idle speed.

Yup hole on the top is for idle adjustment, the hole from the throttle plates are filled with a metal putty type stuff from the auto parts store says its for intake manifolds and stuff. I installed it and love it i feel a good gain from 5500 to redline (7k since i'm S4). But that along with the posi i just installed should put me in mid 14s once i get on the dyno and get my safc tuned

It's looking good. Just do yourself a favor and drill/tap/screw plug those holes where the secondary plates were. #1 JB weld looks un-professional #2 JB weld getting sucked into the motor = teh bad

Next i think i'll try to port the exhuast manifold, Has anyone ever tried this? I don't want to buy a header since i plan on a turbo in about a month.

Yeah i think i will tap those hole and bolt em but the jb weld type stuff i used doesn't look bad at all i sande it smooth and it looks ok and i left like a mushroom on top to keep it from being inhaled

Whatd you do to keep the jb weld fillig the hole from getting sucked into the intake? Im not trying to be a bastard, just would hate to see a ruined engine because that crap broke loose for some reason

i mushroomed the top so its too large to be sucked in, but i pan on tapping and puting bolts in the hole since they don't feel like they will withstand boost without blowing out
