TB Mod/ Thermo Wax

TB Mod/ Thermo Wax
I just pulled the therm wax block thing off and was wondering if I have to take anything else off.
I am not removing the secondary throttle plates just removing the coolant stuff.
It's a S4 TII TB and the thermo wax thing had a vac hose going to a dash pot thing. Can I remove this as well?
The FC3S pro write up didn't have or mention this.

The removal of the thermowax and its linkage (on the side of the TB facing rearwards) is a completely separate process from the removal of the #2 secondary throttles and their linkage (on the side of the TB facing forwards). I did the opposite to you, removing the throttles and leaving the thermowax. Just follow the relevant parts of Ted's write-up.

I think you should remove it then sell it to me for five bucks cash. Maybe ten which would include shipping. One of those U.S.Postal pouches will do. I'll even say *thank you*, if you do decide to go that way. And if your double throttle diaphram is in working order....five bucks hard cash. Gotta be functional though. Same with the thermowax.

No engine can idle normally when completely cold. That's why manufacturers go to all the trouble to develop these things. If you pull it off you can't really complain about your cold idle quality.

Hailers: I'm gonna mail it out this week! (Probably today)
Makes me happy, I was just gonna throw that stuff away and keep the thermowax. And $10 is more then fair, especially since I've found many of your posts very helpful in the past.
Please note though! In that picture you can see the thermowax housing is damaged. AND I'm missing the little cotter pin and tiny little washer for the dashpot. And the throttle screws are slightly stripped.
However the dashpot works fine, and I have no clue about the thermowax (Got it on a spare throttle I bought)
What do you use all this stuff for, anyway?
