Goto www.fc3spro.com and look under the tech section, then under modifications and finally under intake/throttly body.

Its in there with step by step instructions and pics.

Thumbs up

Just to give some feedback on Ted's websight, great write up its what i used and it worked great. However i have not tested is yet cuz my car is still being worked on but i can tell you from experience becuase a buddy did it and he noticed a boost in power.
The pros are that it simplifies the throttle body and adds power.
The cons id say are you lose the cold start system so you have to sit in your car for a minute and allow it to warm up. Also you cannot romp on your accelorator to abruptly becuase without the secondary throttle plates the engine will bog.

The pros out weigh the cons though on this mod.

If you don't want to remove the cold start system, then don't remove it. That and the TB mod are two separate things.

Yes, just leave your Thermo-Wax on. I did the TB mod, hated sitting in my freezing car. So I added the Thermo-Wax back on, now it starts right up, and only on cold days doI need to hold the pedal. But I never have to hold it for more then 10 seconds. Then the Thermo-wax takes care of warm up.

Because your car is N/A you won't see much improvement. It's mostly a turbo mod.

It does not add power unless the removed throttle plates were previously not fully opening.

If this is a problem then don't remove the thermowax. It's completely seperate from the double throttle system.

Also you cannot romp on your accelorator to abruptly becuase without the secondary throttle plates the engine will bog.
This applies only to Turbos, not NA's. On Turbos the upstream secondary throttle plates that get removed operate in tandem with the downstream plates but there opening speed is damped, so removing them improves throttle response but will cause a mild stumble if you open the throttles too fast at low rpm. On NA's these throttles are held fully open once the engine's warm, so there's no improvement to throttle response or stumbling if you remove them.
