Tail housing swap while in car
Has anyone ever swapped the tail housing with the Trans still in the car. I had a bad S4 TII and a good S5 TII Trans. I swapped the S4 tail housing on to the good S5, and finished the build (86 BaseT)
Soon after I started driving I noticed that there is a little vibration and the Drive Yoke has a bit of slop apon entering the Trans. The S5 housing is good, Bushing and all.
So, just need the cross member Y bracket. Cross member is new as are the mount blocks. While its apart I will put the Dampner back on.
