t3 turbos?

t3 turbos?

I was just wondering if two t3s could feed a street ported 13bt? They seeem really cheap, have internal wastegates. The manifold, intercooler, and exhaust wouldnt be a big concern. Im aiming at about 400hp. What else could do the job at under $500 a peice. Ive seen alot of t3s on ebay for under $300. Again Im just kickin ideas around.

T3 is way too small. It's a little smaller than the stock turbo.

Well I guess if you use two it'll work, but why not just put a single larger turbo on? TO4s are common, and not very laggy.

I've thought about running two T3 turbos, with one each per rotor, but I think that they would be too big (and thus laggy) - consider boost response on a typical T3-equipped Honda, then remember how comparatively little air a single rotor flows at low RPM.

In any case, you'd be in for a lot of very custom work.

Why not just have the stock turbo rebuilt by Bryan at BNR.
