Angry LOSt MY Transmission TOday :(

I just wanted to share with you guys this sad little story that happened to me today. I was driving down I-10 going to Tallahassee, FL when my car lost Fifth Gear, I didn't think anything of it and shift it back into forth drove it into town in forth...and then I hit a red light..so had to stop. Put it into first and all I heard was clinking clinking noise so that was it! Pulled into Circle K and then the next thing I knew I had to get my car Towed...What a day for me so far. ANyone have any $$$ for mE? I will need it to get it fixed. Just thought I would share it with you guys.

Is your car turbo or non-turbo?

Well, an 86-88 box will work just fine. You should buy that one from Partstrader and put that in yourself. Expect to spend an afternoon under your car to fix everything. You may as well put a new clutch in there while you're at it.

man that sucks! I just got a new engine put in my car and a new clutch but i find out about 2 weeks later that now i need a new slave cylinder for my clutch. I fill it up with fluid drive for like 25 min and it's practically bone dry again. The first time i lost total hydro and i was about 4 km away from my house and i hit every possible light on the way home. had to stall the car out every time it happened, and start it in 3rd using no clutch just to limp her home. What a bitch my car is
