t2 question is this possible

I have an 88 turbo 2 no emissions, 3 inch exhaust, is it possible to make 300 wheel horsepower, on Stockport and stock turbo safely. I'm picking a rtek 2.1 this week. Its going on a drift build. And I want serious answers and insight please

At a certain point (12psi?) The stock turbo i just blowing hot air. I hope you also planned on bigger injectors? Anda serious answer would be to search to see what other people have done to reach this goal.

with the stock turbo, more than 250rwhp is very very hard, and turbo will live a short life.

put the right size turbo on the thing and 300rwhp is easy

good, and you will need more fuel. the stock turbo will be your power limitation, it cannot flow enough air to make more than about 250whp, its just too small.

Probably a 255 pump, 720 secondaries and some kind of upgraded turbo. I want to start at 300 safe as I'll also drive the car from time to time cause I love my Fc lol. I'm already good with my cooling mods.

280-290whp is about the highest i have seen claimed accurately on a stock turbo. a few have made claim to over 300whp but i find it extremely hard to believe. the turbo also won't last very long.

about 250whp if you can manage to reach that while maintaining less than 14psi is about the best you could ask for.

then you'll need a bigger turbo and supporting mods, the stock hitachi simply won't get you there.

unless you do it wrong it should support over 300whp with a simple compressor upgrade.

This is my dyno sheet stock port s5 13b, stock turbo, 3 in exhaust, 750cc secondary 550 primary, rp comp fuel pump, other random stuff thats irrelevant. This was at 14psi which the turbo could not handle well it starts falling off around 5k rpm.

This was also on a micro tech standalone. I was just pushing the turbo to see what it could do. This is on my drift car so i ended up lowering it to 10-12psi and it was probably around 250-275hp. Started my car for the first time today on the new garret gt35r curious to see how much power this will make on a stock ported engine.

it will make the stock turbo seem like a squeaky toy.

Have you thought about BNR hybrid turbos? I've seen people reach 300 quite easily with them. You could still keep everything else the same and not have to change the manifold. Not sure how quick the turn around is on them though.
