T2 Differential Swaps Question

The 1986-1988 FC's all run stock clutch-type LSD's.
The 1989-1991 FC's all run viscous-type LSD's. So the 89-91 Diff are better. so can you swap a 89-91 diff into a 87 T2 what all is needed, half shafts, etc. thanks

Umm... No, the 89-91 Diff is NOT better. It just lasts longer before it breaks.

Steve

P.S. Yes, it's a direct bolt on from what I'm told.

This should help. =)

Steve

P.S. The 87-88 clutch type differential is widely reguarded as being superior to the viscous type, it just doesn't have the longetivity.
