A/t Or M/t?

The biggest controversy i'm having is the transmission. Some people are telling me to keep the a/t tranny for my t2 motor, but i already got the 5speed. I was told that with the a/t tranny i wont loose boost. I'll have max boost through all the gears cuz i wont have to let go of the gas. I think i'm going to keep the manual until i burn out the clucth or something then throw back in the a/t and see what the deals is. So what do you guys think? A/T OR M/T??

Wow, this is the first time I've seen this before. Usually its the other way around. Anyway, I would only use the auto tranny if its a pure drag car and you have a mongo turbo on it. It probably wont be good for the street, because its a racing tranny. It would kill your gas milage and not be nearly as fun to drive.

I have that tranny on my car now(A/T). I mean it's a good tranny. It shifts nice and hard, esp. when i'm nailing the car.

If you have the tranny in the car and you like, then keep it. As long as you are happy with it, then thats all that matters.

What kind of tranny is it? Who makes it? What was done to it to make it a "racing" tranny?
