Synthetic/Brand Premix!

What brand of premix are ya'll running...also what about the synthetic premixes--are they ok to use!

There doesn't seem to be much about this--so this should help to get some more info out there!

I like to use Search brand synthetic oil. It's the best because it has the most coverage properties, and it has been around for a very long time

I used the synthetic premix by Honda. (motorcycles) The best way to buy is by the gallon, it's cheaper per quart. They have it in 5 gallon too. I haven't bought it in a while since the car I bought it for is apart. I would use that or the Mobile 1. I would have preferred the Mobile1 but I couldn't find it by the gallon.

Valvoline Multi-Use pre-mix in the dark blue bottles.
These things used to specific say "rotary engines" in the back, but they have changed the label now.

Synth pre-mix is not a problem, as long as they carry the TC-W3 certification.  I've got customers running expensive synth pre-mix with good results.

I normally use the Valvoline in the dark blue bottle, but have used a few others with the TC-W3 certification.

lol

I did search, but the specific brands and sythetic or not has not really been covered much...I did read some of the threads which gave some info, but to me it was not sound enough for me to accept as a conclusion...

Redline

Using Redline's Synth Two Stroke..

Now, how much is everyone using per tank? Do you also have an OMP (either powered by stock ecu or PFC?).

I run 16oz per tank, or half a quart per fill-up on a Zenki turbo.
I typically fill up about 13 gallons, and the math it comes out to about 100:1 ratio.
My car BARELY smokes on start-up.
The engine internals are surprisingly clean.
No OMP.

I run a little less than RETed, I go with about 12oz per fill up.

No MOP.

I just though you were against the removale of the omp...but the real question is, is your car daily driven or just a race, sunday, fun, car?

The engine was torn down twice within the past 20k miles for really stupid reasons.  The engine was rebuilt at the same time the OMP was removed...20k miles ago.

My car is a daily driver that's seen some track time.  I drive it like I stole it everyday.

Sure, recommended with OMP is 400:1.
You could run it down to about 5-6oz., but 8oz. isn't going to hurt anything.
