symptoms of blown oil seals
what are they? i think the ones in my turbo went.. but it could also be the ones in the engine im not sure... long story short, test driving the car with the new front mount kit on, spool the turbo up a bit not much, coupling popps off then there is a backfire, i pull over pop the hood and about 1 minute later i smell burning oil.. so i take a look at the back of the car and WHOOSH sooooooo much oil is being burned.. its leaving giant clouds everywhere at idle and while driving like there is no tomorrow, when i rev the car with the airfilter off the turbo, oil sprays out of the inlet.. ideas?
engine is stock , 144,XXX kms on it, garrett hybrid turbo w/ external wastegate.. microtech ecu blah blah blah..

out of the rotary game...
i had the exact same thing happen to me a few days ago. i took mine a rotary mechanic and said it was a high possibility it was just the turbo. he said i had no symptoms of blown engine coolant seals. all the smoke coming out of my exhaust was burning oil.
my engine was running about 30k miles in on a fresh rebuilt.
