Stabilizer bars... they are stabilizer bars...

If you have to be a shade tree mechanic and call the sway bars, at least call them anti-sway bars.

But they are called stabilizer bars.

Nah, the lame "sway bar" name for a stabilizer bar just rubs me the wrong way, the same way when people call Limited Slip differentials Posi's or Posi-Traction rear ends, or people call wheels, Rims.

It's just wrong. And a bunch of people calling it the wrong thing doesn't make it the right name.

Sorta like if I called you Bob, when your name was really Rapheal. Yeah you'd know if I was talking right at you, that I was meaning you. But the name would still be wrong.
