Suspension Techniques Front Sway Bar.... Clunk when braking?

Has anyone who has the Suspension Techniques front sway bar installed, experienced a clunk when braking hard? I just had the car at my mechanic, and he tightened everything up and thought the clunk was gone, but it's back again..... he suggested it was because of the brackets that are used? Anyone have experience with these sway bars?

Thanks,

Matt

check your sway bar bushings to see that you didn't put them in backwards and check the control arm mounts for a loose bushing those bang like crazy under braking if their soft or improperly torqed down.

Mine doesn't clunk. I wasn't aware that there was a wrong way to put the bushings in. I guess I got lucky.

I found that out the hard way,you want the split to face the front. If you put it the other way the sway bar cuts its way through and the bar clunks around. It takes some time to happen.
