Another TPS question
OK I think someone had the same problem I am having now but I can't find the thread. I tryed the LED trick but am I suppose to do this while the car is running or with just the ignition in the on position? I did it with the car running and this is what I got. 1st LED is on, as I slowly open the throttle both LEDs come on then the 1st LED goes off and 2nd LED remains on. My question is....am I suppose to try to eliminate having both LEDs on by ajusting screw?
ie. when the throttle is close I should have 1st LED on. As I slowly open the throttle the 1st LED should go off just as the 2nd LED comes on. Is this correct? If so I can't seem to get the LEDs to come on independently. There is always some point in the throttle position that BOTH LEDs are on.

Thanks for your help.
"Next step is to turn the car ignition on. Check your test lamps: You can either have one lamp on, both on, or neither on. If one lamp is one, that's good! If neither or both is on, you need to turn the TPS adjusting screw until you can get only one lamp lit at a time".only one lamp lit at a time
I guess this answers my question but I can't seem to get one lamp lit at a time. As I said there is a certain point that both LEDs are on as I crack open the throttle. Is this normal

Hmm well to me when I pressed the TPS I get both lights to turn on and when it's not pressed at all none of them turn on.
About halfway in I can get one light to turn on.
Hope that helps.

But from these directions: OK my ignition is ON. Throttle closed and I should have one lamp on (which I do). As I open throttle (about 1/4) both lights come on. Then one light on all the way to WOT. I tryed adjusting screw in all positions but my car still bucks when I let off or apply throttle when driving.
Thanks for replying
