suspension setup

I got my suspension finished i will have set correctly soon.

Does somebody know what are the value of toe, camber, etc... to have an efficient chassis ? i know that it should be tune to my liking but i'm searching something to start and then refine.

Take the car to a professional shop that has a fancy computer alignment system. They will set the car up to standard specifications, which will be a good place to start.

It depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Auto-x? Low riding?
Street performance?

There are theads that will address some of those goals, just search.

As to getting a base alignment: I take my 7 to an old school guy. He has the computer based laser alignment stuff. He attempts to set your alignment as close to stock specs as possible. Most of the big shops will do an 'align check' . If you are in the green zone, you are good. They will also do an 'alignment' and just put you in the green zone. There is a big difference between being as close to exact as possible and being in the green.

basically this week end we hit a couple of mountain roads with my friends and the car was sliding a lot. My tires are not really old, but they are not "sport" tire (kuhmo kh31) so i suppose most of the sliding issue comes from them. But as i have to rework the alignment (due to the install of new adjustable coilovers and energy suspension bushings) i'd like to have a setup efficient on curvy roads. I'm not a die hard road racer either, i just like to have fun once in a while so i don't need a setup too agressive that would ruin my tires within 10 minutes.

Here are my recommendations. For the front I'd run as much positive caster and around -1 to -1.5 camber with factory toe specs. For the rear I run around -1 camber and factory toe. This setup is good for playing in the twisties

i still havent had my suspension set...

so i thought i might at least try to adjust the caster by myself to have at least a rough idea of how it would feel.

I've checked the FSM and apparently the only way to correct the caster angle is by turning the damper mounting blocks. the things is that i have bc racing coilovers with pillow ball mountings... therefore i have no idea how to adjust the caster...
