Suspension setup

Hi all!! hope to get some feedback on what this setup would do for my 90 vert. please give me some insight on what you think.

-Eibach springs set of 4 lowers car 1.75" to 2.0"
-ground control coil spring perches for the front
-ground control camber plates for the front
-Koni adjustable struts both front and rear

Will this setup do anything for my car?

Fred

??? you mean the ground control kit? it's front and rear perches with 4 springs. $400 and then the Camber plates. $3-400. if you want those with konis. get the susp kit from www.mazdamotorsports.com it's like $1700 or so and comes with sway bars too.

After having the whole spring & strut set up on my civic.. and riding in a few cars with coilovers.. never again.. I'll save the extra cash to have coilovers.. JIC FLT-A2's are a tad stiff in the TII.. but damn with those and strut bars.. the car felt super solid.

IC... so it's only the front perches?? the GC springs will not fit on the shock without the rear perches as well.

do you know the spring rates? thst is pretty important too.

so you are saying the setup is not complete without the rear perches? please advise me on this setup, i am clueless when it comes to these things. is the setup i described complete enough to put on my 90 vert? or is it missing things that are necessary to put them on?

-Eibach springs set of 4 lowers car 1.75" to 2.0"
-ground control coil spring perches for the front
-ground control camber plates for the front
-Koni adjustable struts both front and rear

please let me know since the above is exactly how im being offerred the items. also, if you can list what would be a complete setup with these items...i would really appreciate that as well.

Fred

You really need to let people know how much your paying to know if its a good deal. I believe the GC adjustable spring kit with eibach springs is like $400. Then you need struts which will run you $355 for the kyg adjustables. Thats all I think you would need for less than $800 and fully adjustable. If he would need anything else let him(me) know.

so with this setup:
-Eibach springs set of 4 lowers car 1.75" to 2.0"
-ground control coil spring perches for the front
-ground control camber plates for the front
-Koni adjustable struts both front and rear
do i need rear perches or anything else to make it work on my 90 vert? i am getting the whole setup listed above in used but good condition for about 600.00

I'd say no. I mean for less than $200 more you get brand new stuff.

That is a good set up for street but the only disadvantage to it is when you lower your car you loose suspension travel. I have the JIC FLT-A2’s and damn they are off the hook. Now my car is stiff but that is just because of the front/rear strut tower bars, and my roll cage. But I have driven another GTUs with just the FLT-A2’s and front strut bar and it is not that bad (about as bad as the ground control coil over set up). But the disadvantage to a full coil over set up is the $$$$. Good luck

I was just saying for about $750 he could get the GC adjustable springs and kyg adj. struts. I am not a fan of buying used suspension parts...guess thats just me.

i guess i should bring up the other people like Tien. They have a coilover setup called the HA that includes shocks with threded bodies so you dont need sleevs and springs. Looks like its designed for racing, though. I dont think i would drive on the street with 500lbs/in springs
im thinking of getting the setup for racing.

this will run you about $1000 USD

Not sure how this could be -- it was my understanding that the Eibach progressives will not fit the GC coilover kits. They come w/ Eibach ERS (linear rate) springs...

If someone has a way to fit Eibach progressives on a GC coilover, I'd like to see it. This is what I was considering but wanted to stick to progressives and not lose 2 limbs in the cost..

Is there any way to use that GC kit with kyb agk adjustable struts? What i really want is adjustable height and stiffness, but i don't want to pay 2k+ for a coilover setup.
