Suspension Component Upgrades...
Well I'm soon going to upgrade my suspension yet again this time all the little bushing and such here is a list I've made out so far, which I will purchase once I get my finanical aid check from school, I'd just like to know if there are any components I didn't add or don't realy need to be upgraded.. here goes:
Polyurathane Mounts/Bushing(From Mazdatrix):
Rear controll arms $19.14
Front controll arms $63.08
F&R anti-Sway bar set $279.76
F&R adj anti-sway bar end links F/$66.80 R/$66.80
Engine Mounts $43.00x2
and for my fuel starved motor a walbro 255lph pump for $99 plus free over night shipping....
anything I missed?

The adj end links for the sway bar rule. Just remember to really crank them down. I had a nut back out and lost the bolt and spacers. I had to drive around with no front swaybar for a few days. Adding a little lock-tite would be a good idea.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

The stock S5 plastic ones have a spherical bearing in them and work reasonable well. The greased bearing is protected by a high quality rubber boot. I actually threw them out when I switched. It was a dumb move since S4's can benefit from this upgrade. Oh well, $40 out the window.
You'll love those adjustables, the bearing will loosen up after a few miles and you'll start to hear clicking from the links. If you have them torqued down with lock-tite then it's just the bearing has broken in. I would oil the bearings on a regular basis, one of mine has slight surface rust.

Yes they do, but they do work reasonably well for what they are. If I had to go back to a stock component, it would be the sway bar links off a S5 and not the sway bar links from a S4.

hrmmm, so they are interchangeable? I know mine are shot just by looking at them, but what about the other bushing/mounts I have up there, my front controll arm bushings are thrashed, the rears look fine though, motor mounts left one is thrashed, I think I'll start with the front contoll arm bushings and anti-sway bar set, then go from there.....btw what kinda springs and shocks do you have, looks like alot of bady roll, or you may just be haulin *****....

maybe also replace the ball joints on the front control arm.
but if you have a 89 or newer it is not replaceable... u have to change out the whole control arm...

BTW, the irony in your other statement IS laughable because if you didn't have the toe bushings; actually, we would have been helping you by suggesting that you install them. Since you DO actually have them in your sig you've inadvertantly concurred to their improvement. Thanks.
