Cool Supra fuel pump vs. aftermarket fuel pump

I have an interesting question about the supra fuel pumps. I am wondering why it is recommended that you use the supra fuel pump vs. any other type of aftermarket fuel pump or anything that compares.

Currently i am going to be running a stage 4 BNR hybrid s5 turbo with 550cc primaries 1600cc secondaries and a microtech. This was actually recommended by a part owner of BNR just seeing if yall can give me some info on this situation.

Thanks

Denso makes the Supra pumps correct?

a notable tuner out here in socal told me that walbros are cheaply made and questionable. *even tho i put one in my old 240sx*, he said one of their track car's walbro died at the track which left a bad impression on them. He recommended an OEM Supra pump since OEM would be a high standard and expect to last for a few years over an aftermarket pump and you wont have to worry about it.

Of course though, i dont know the specifics of those failures, i have a friend who went through 2 withen a year... but you should run only clean quality fuel, clean filter sock and always keep the pump wet *never run the tank near E * and they should all provide good life.

My car has a mitsu lancer evo9 pump in it.

NipponDenso makes the Supra fuel pump, so yeah, you're correct.

I've had the Walbro in mine for about 2 1/2 years now, it's noisy, but I don't notice it with the stereo on.
