It boils down too...

Mad scientist inventor, good intentions, no money, wants $$$$, comes a trolling for a while, finds no money, disappears.

You forgot the part about having absolutely no idea how an internal combustion engine works, or how to control it.

I dont browse the forum as much as I used to. But it always throws me off when I do happen to be browsing the forum and someone has resurrected a thread that began a year ago. I almost wish there was a section of the forum where these old *** threads can be moved to, so the people who still want to beat a dead horse can do so as they wish.

The short version:

A very efficient electric fan could make some boost, but it would still require serious power to run it.
(Like what the starter draws.)

"He is working on the plugs to make it out of Carbon Fiber

Really? I heard he was in the mountains mining some unobtanium because it will be stronger and lighter than CF."

I'm laughing my *** off @ "unobtanium"!

And this comes as a surprise? Now you are going to say my Gas-line moleculiar magnetizer doesn't improve power and performance.

I would say that hopefully this news will kill this thread, but it's unlikely.

We need a new forum called 'pipe dreams'. We can move all of the "I'm making custom CF parts" threads and this one to that forum.

shouldn't someone email this guy and tell him that this IS NOT HAPPENING? That if he would have read the last seven posts he would have figured that out?

I Have to admit to skipping 16 pages or so and as any of you old timers can read I am new to this group. I owned a 87 turbo II at 18 loved it! I am out the door soon to try and pick up a 86? White rims? But any way one problem I read in the beginning was a controller unit. What about your cheap air compresser for 5 and 6 port tweaks? And hey who cares about second alternator maybe in place of A/C or power steering pump. Or any of the other options bass boomers have developed. I am sure I am way off base as I have read info from people much more inteligent than I but sometimes its the simple ideas people overlook. Nomatter what I thought it sounded great and maybe it can still be done. WITH OR WITHOUT SCAMMER! Buy the way I visited his site and it took me about 30 seconds to see someone was fishing! Ha Ha tooo bad!

You know, it would be promising if someone could just make the internals for a turbo out of it, instead of the whole "electric motor" thing... But yeah, I always figured the guy was fishing for money.
