Sunroof variances?
Something has been bugging me a bit.
Me and a friend both have 87.5 RX-7s, built in the same month. His is an SE and mine is a GXL. Now, when I depress my sunroof button, the panel tilts up and then slides back about an inch or so, and let's the deflector up.
When he depresses his sunroof button, the panel simply tilts up and does not move back at all. Then when we both press the button again, the panels slide back to their fully open position.
My two previous GXLs also had similar differences. First one would just tilt up and not move back, but the second one I had would slide back the same amount as my current car.
Are there differences in the way the two-stage sunroofs work on different model/years?

My FC's coming up on 250K on the original build... yours is original too, right?
