Stupid question I did search

I searched but dident come up with anything. I need a thermo sensor you know the one under the filler neck by the water pump on a S4. Anyway at auto zone its called a coolent temp sensor not thermo sensor is it the same thing. Little things like this bug me I have to make sure. Its made by wells part#SU405 it looks like the same thing. I ask because they have another one that looks the same but it says temp sensor/switch.

It's the same thing. I like to take the old part for comparison when possible.
