Angry Stupid F**KING hesitation....

I'll make this quick....

i drove my car hard for a few seconds through a few gears, then i pulled into the parking lot, revved it a bit and noticed it wouldnt revv past 4500rpm and would hessitate, then a decent bit of black smoke came out of the exhaust....

when i drive i get a hessitation when i get on the gas, hessitates and then goes, but sometimes it doesent feel as if it's pulling as hard as it was before....

on the dyno the other night it would hit about 5500rpm and wouldnt accelerate past.... i kept it pinned and it slowly blipped and started to go....

i tuned the AF's to mid 11's and it cleared that up a bit....

but why this hessitation, anyone know?...

-Fouled plugs?
-Bad o2 sensor?

no idea....

Pull the plugs and tell us how they look?
Black smoke usually signals the engine is running rich...

Do a compression test also, when I recieved my blown up 7 I drove that thing n it wouldnt go above 4500rpm because the rear rotor was shot!

And - check the ohms sweep of the TPS.

A bad spot will give random fuel cuts..

video example - bad TPS symptoms

it definitly sounds like a random fuel cut....

i'll check the plugs and see how they are, from it running stupidly rich they probably fouled....

Man almost all hesitations that I know of are due to poor electrical. In most cases, badly grounded sensors, such as the pressure sensor, etc. Follow the grounding guide in the archives, do it all, and I bet you'll fix it.
