why the **** did they powder coat the air valve? You can see they got powder inside it even. Aside from that the powder coating finish doesn't look that bad, but yeah the color isn't exactly what I would accept as Gold.

Hey don't knock the eastwood kit, its pretty good.

That being said, did he have a sample of what the color would look like? Alot of people (including the ONE job I did for a buddy) have at least one peice of metal for showing the color. My buddy didn't like the Red PC i had. So he paid me to order a color he thought he would like. I tested it, he liked it presto, matching red metal interior parts.

You should definatly call the guy, but my guess is you are fucked.
Sorry

If a guy needs to advertise on CLIST he prolly does poor work.... I would bite the bullet and get them redone by a competent shop.

So did he do the silver too? Or did he just mask off the "gold"? Definatly find out exactly what the guy did. Because it can affect how you Un-do it.

The job actually looks decent. I can't see alot of the rim but what i can see looks ok. So maybe the guy isnt'a complete idiot, but just has know clue about gold. Or maybe he is and I don't know wtf I'm saying.............

Sooooo.............

how much DID you pay?

judging by the author of the thread laying blame on himself im thinking thats the color he picked out and now he is not happy with it- just let the guy re-do them in a better color.

as for "if they guy is advertising on craigslist, bla bla" people have to start out somewhere and times are tough even for established businesses.
People said the same thing about Ebay vendors back in the day, and now how many vendors are making a VERY nice living off Ebay?
