I have an ebay one and it works just fine. I guess as long as the strut bar is made pretty good, brands dont matter. But you dont have to take my word for it *reading rainbow music goes here*

I have one from Ebay as well...DirectCarParts, I believe. I know others on here have it as well. Seems to be fine to me too. I don't like that the chrome has started to turn in under two weeks, though. Anyone else with this strut bar have this problem or is that pretty standard with strut bars?

Turn in? Mine still looks like the day I put it on, only with some more fingerprints. You took the plastic off right?

Damn, I thought the plastic was to help keep the fingerprints off.

Yes, I did remove the plastic. I have two good sized spots on top where it is starting to rust through. (Unless I am crazy) I know on a previous thread about these strut bars, someone mentioned that theirs did not completely clear the alternator. I have that same problem.

So, I dunno. Maybe I just got a bad one.

What about the Trust(GReddy) one? Think its just under $100 and thats a very respectable company.

Is your bar straight or is it angled? Does it come in contact with the hood at all?

Trust

I have had the trust bar and it worked just fine. I think I got it for under a 100.

Yes. Turn in is much better, and I ahve noticed a lot less throttle understeer going through fast turns. I also have the EBay special. I do, however, want to get a triangulated rear strut brace from Cusco. Only $215 from www.takakaira.com

It has a slight angle up, then goes straight, and then a slight angle down. Does not come in contact with the hood at all.

I find the GReddy bar does not have enough clearance for the coolant fillter neck and the hood.&nbsp It ends up rubbing something! My Cusco clears everything end the hood now!

I got the Trust one on Ebay for $58 + shipping. I haven't put the bar on yet, but the red shock tower ends look nice with my red hoses. : ) I'll let you know in 2 weeks if the bar handles better. Going to get front end aligned before installing it.

Hmmm...you sure it's a real GReddy?&nbsp New GReddy front upper strut tower bars some with GReddy blue mount flanges.&nbsp Was this bar painted?
