strange problem with my s4na

Okay, I daily my fc...Its hard..Today my engine stalled randomly in a intersection then cars were flying by honking..i was scared....and it stalled another time after I got off a freeway ramp..

so I have a s4 na setup.I have awalbro 255 lph fuel pump..so fuel pressure is good. Its weird I turn the key to On position and the fuel pump isnt primeing not until the AFMs vane moves in[some times Ihave my gf push it by hand to start in themorning], same as when I crank the starter, the fuel pump will activate, because the vacuum is pulling the vane of the afm back to make the fuel pump prime..First starts are always the hardest,it wont start unless ihave starterfluid or my gf pushing the afm byhand..]...Iuse starter fluid most of the time..But a normal fc, is supose to have the fuel pump primeing when u turn the kkeyy on...hm....it would bealot more reliable if itwould just do that...ALso it will not rev over 3800 rpm...it hesitates big time and wont fight through it when you floor it on all gears...Its grounded...Checked that already.. what can it be?? what should Icheck..? Its also leaking oil from the rear housing area....that cant be helped unless i do a rebuild.. sigh..my na is fail..

Have you tried testing the AFM? It would seem that would be a the possible culprit.

Either the AFM or it's the fuel pump being all wonky. I'd switch it back to the stocker since a 255lph pump is kind of unnecessary on an NA anyway.

did you re do all of the grounds and swap out another AFM (turboII or n/a will work) and see if it helps.

yeah, i went to jrx rotary and traded afm with them, it was the same problem. Then I tried a s4 na fuel pump, it was even harder to start, and hesitated even more..[maybe the s4 fuel pump was bad]? I also tried another s4 ecu, still no luck... I tried switching the whoel wiriing harness, it made itworse, because that harness was from one of my old shells, and it had shitty connections..damn....beenn trying everything.. Jrx checked all the plugs and sensors, and changed some of them including the injector plugs.. still no luck.. Grounded the engine bay , and wiring harness, it helped alil for reving, but still hesitates at 3800. and the fuel pump wont prime untill u push the vane of the afm... This is a really strange problem...

hows ur IC piping? no leaks?

oh wait.. its NA my mistake lmao

everything is clean? fuel pump sock etc? try resetting the ecu? oldschool trick was disconnecting the bat overnight to reset the ecu and if it ran when it was connected then its some sensor giving bad readings. try different injectors?

You got a good gf on your hands if she puts up with your car =p
