Strange oil loss

Well I am losing quite a bit of oil. I'd say about 3 quarts a week, which should be roughly 500 miles maybe. There is no oil leaking that I can see. I park in my concrete driveway and theres no stains or anything. I recently had 3 oil leaks fixed (oil pedestal, oil cooler lines, and oil pressure sensor was leaking). I don't have any cats and my car doesn't smoke very much. When I start it I get a little smoke and every once in a while when sitting at a stop light I get a little. How the hell am I losing all this oil?

I cant see how that would explain 3 quarts a week if he said it smokes lightly at start-up.

Ya it smokes a little on start up, not too much though. I figure since I don't have a cat I would have more than I even have now and not lose oil close to how I am.

Could be a faulty oil metering system. It could be just consistantly spraying oil at one rate.

When i was rebuilding my motor I bought this video from some shop. Can't remember who, I think it was atkins rotary, they make super chargers for N/a.

Anyway I specifically remember that the guy in the video talked about how the seals on the rotor, the circular ones that sit on the rotors' bearings, if they weren't set right or were excessively worn then you would end up burning a lot of oil.

I can't for the life of my remember what these are called though. They're circular. They sit on the rotors front and back faces and touch the side housings like the side rotor seals do.

Oh wait, they're called oil control ring.

Its this thing:
