I have a questions for you guys since i dont know anybody else that has an RX-7. When I turn off the fuel injection kill switch and start the engine it sounds like i am revving and unrevving the engine. Like if Im pressing on the gas and then letting off alot. Is this normal??? Could my kill swithc be involved with this??

well WTF exactly are you talking about?

If you have a kill switch, you should cut the switch before you shut the engine off, and let the engine run out of fuel, so there's no fuel pressure in the lines and the fuel injectors won't leak down and cause the engine to flood.

 

ohh ok. I always turn it on afterwards. thanks for the help. Today i noticed that my car just idles like that all the time. Its hard to explain but its like im taking my foot on and off the gas constantly. I need to fix that.
