wsup folks? heres my problem,my car wont start, and im the the process of doin the atf trick. In the last few days I think I killed my starter while trying all the various start-up tricks. When i turn the key on the volts go to 12v, when I go to start it the power drops to well below 10v and a lil' bit higher than 8v. My starter I'm assuming thats what it is
, is just clicking now,and it wont even crank anymore. I just put a new 550 c.c.amps battery in it 2 days ago. When I first put it in it cranked perfectly and almost kicked over,.....now it just clicks

I know I'm probably asking a stupid question, but is your battery fully charged?, not too old ? The reason I ask is that I had a similar problem recently after I fitted a very large electric fan to my TII. The sensor is wired so that the fan will come on at any time the rad is hot enough. one time I was drivin through town and stopped to do some shopping. When I came back out of the shop about 25 mins later all I got was a click from the starter. It turned out that the fan motor was drawing around 16 amps and as my battery was real old it was enough to take the voltage down to the point where there wasn't enough to engage the starter
New battery needs a charge. Your car has not started since who knows when and you've been trying to start it without recharging the battery. The ECU is chomping power while you have the key on, even if the car isn't being rotated. That plus the battery grounds. Two days of trying to start a car will definetly run the batt down.
