On the second chart you can see the RPM's (Top, Red Line) are getting all squiggly past 3rd gear...
I saw the same thing on another dyno'd turbo II only it was WAY more spirratic...
They were reading RPM from the ignition wires...
My question is...is this normal or are my coils weak?

Hmm.. Interesting. I would first try the spark plugs and wires before I look at the coils. The FC coils are known to be robust but I have known them to die so I am sure it is possible they are weak. I would also check the grounds from the engine to the chassis and the coils to the chassis.

The run felt fine...
My friends felt fine too, he had a bad coil...his looked like this:

You can see that with the bad coil HP was definitly effected...

Wowsers! That is some seious breakup
I would definitely take the time to check the grounds, wires, and plugs.
If you do that and hit the dyno again please post the results!

These engines are finicky of their spark plug (and wires) condition.  Even slightly used spark plugs (over 1000 miles) exhibit ignition break-up.  If you're using brand new plugs, there should be very little break-up.
If you were using a CDI box, you wouldn't see that.

Yea...I laugh sometimes when friends of mine with N/A's say that their N/A is faster than my Turbo II...
I just smile and say "yea but I am not running a full 2.5-3" exhaust, or an intake, and you also spent money on those headers!"

p.s. not to mention advancing the timing on turbo cars produces ALOT more HP, I'd make sure my car is in tip top shape before a dyno tune....ie, plugs wires, plugs, idle, new vac lines ect...
