way to be an dual guage pod
got my autometer dual pod yesterday. the one that mounts on the a-pillar...
and the damn thing doesnt seem to fit..
well, it fits, but it just isn't flush at all. are they supposed to be?
it's really bad at the bottom of the pod, where it barely contacts the pillar.
the box says its the right one. not sure if it is though.

Ya, they don't fit on the 89-91's, only 86-88.
I think I remember someone saying you can get the A pillar panel out of a S4 car and make it work with your S5, but I'm not sure about that.

VDO apparently makes a gauge pod
www.egauges.com
However, they're for 86-91, so I wonder if it's going to be the same as the autometer...
