still wont start

ok, been reading everything i find relating to this for a week. I have checked the timing, the injectors click when I spin the gear. the plugs fire, there is good woosh whoosh when i crank it with the plugs out, they are damp but dont seem to wet. so I have pulled it for about 5 miles to try and start it and Ive sqirted ether down the intake, still nothing. HELP!

At this point we need some actual compression numbers.

In the meantime, squirt some ATF in the leading plug holes on all 3 rotor faces.
Charge up the battery, reinstall the plugs & give it another try.
If compression is low, that will build some extra pressure.

Ive been using MMO instead of ATF because you can leave it in longer and its not as bad for everything like plugs or exhaust systems.

You're right about MMO > ATF.

FWIW to start a motor with really low compression you can even resort to 90w gear lube.

I never thought of that. WOuldn't it clog something up being so thick? Or do something to the turbine fins on the turbo?

The school of thought here is that using ATF will dislodge carbon (which it WILL do). If it dislodges a large enough chunk, congratulations, you have carbon lock.

Those number are way low.
Is the battery freshly charged?
It takse pretty good cranking RPM to get compression.

Check out this video clip.

The puff of smoke when he starts the burnout is gear lube.

I wish mine would smoke that would mean it's either running or on fire, at this point either way works

Now you tell us!
Until you finish the break in compression will be low.

It's going to take a really strong battery to crank it fast enough until the seals seat in.

ok so knowing what i know, I have spark, fuel and some compression. so now i wonder about spark at the right time. from what I have read you get the pully on the red mark and ;ine up the small hole on the CAS with the mark. so the roll pin that holds the gear on seems to have a smaller side than the other then there is a dimple about halfway between where the roll pin goes, so which is it. i know Im getting closer to this thing running it acts like its trying to start but seems like its not quite there. any help?
