fuse

sometimes the radio have internal fuses , chek it outside the car with 12 v power supply and then opened, most of the times radios have diode to protect reversal of polarity and then the internal fuse blows.

If you have an Aftermarket Stereo, the stereo's Harness Wiring should have a Fuse on it.Like a 15 amp Barrel type fuse.you would have to Pull the stereo from the dash(maybe) to get at it..another Idea,is that Some Aftermarkets have a Small fuse Just Under where the Harness meets up with the Deck itself..I would check that too..good luck,,STYX.

Sorry about that.the Stock Stereo Harness has no Fuse on it besides what is Under the dash(driver's Side). As My friend Icemark said,in a Round about way,if the fuses are good, then the Stereo is most likely Shot..Now,sometimes the fuses will appear good,so the Best thing is to check them with a Meter...Wait a Second.Rereading again..Screw the Tracking down ****!..you got a New Aftermarket Stereo..Rip the Brick out of the Dash and Install that!..Oh by the Way,when taking the Surround off, there are Two Small screws up Behind the Center Air Vents,so Please Don't go Yanking on the Surround to get it off or your Next post will be "looking for s4(S5) Surround"!
