I don't have any pics from farther away yet. I had to show someone else how the spacer fit with the steering wheel.
Nice.
What did the hub/release set you back?

The release by itself was around $90. The hub came with the steering wheel when I bought it some time ago.

I had an Ebay copy ball bearing type quick release and I hated that thing. It had some play in it that made it annoying at times. I got the NRG Slim (Think of the Fet steering release) and that thing is so much nicer, but I had to get the spacer to push the wheel out some so that I could shift without hitting my knee on the steering wheel. I think it was like $25 for the 30mm spacer and now I think I might try the 50mm.

Not very good quality. Used to have one of those "Bride" wheels from ebay, and once I got done with it, I bent it in half Conan style. And I don't mean "O'Brian" either. Seriously I snapped it in half with brute force, and I'm not very strong.

Yes you can. Steering wheels are just as much in line with safety as a roll cage, seats, or even a fire extenguisher. Cheap wheels are made of the same crap metal/aluminum as a 25c ring from a machine at the grocery store. I wouldn't trust one to keep my car on the road.

yeah, thatd be an accident waiting to happen, your driving, and SNAP wheel comes off, you'd be fucked.

Its prolly worth it to pay good money for a good wheel. its gunna be something your hands are gunna touch every time you get in the car.
