Steering Wheels

Hi
Can someone tell me if a 1st gen Steering Wheel will fit on a 2nd gen (1987) RX-7? I tried to find the answer in the archives, but could'nt, probably not searching right.

I have both ill try them out later today and give you an answer. but from memory I think that the shaft that the wheel fits on is bigger on the fc than the FB, could be wrong though

No, they don't fit... there is no provision for the steering position sensor needed for the turn signals and power steering.

I'm going to amend this. I have an 84 that I justed removed the steering wheel from and put on my 87, with no issues at all. The two pins for the turn signal cancel matched up directly. This is NOT to say that all 1st gen wheels fit all 2nd gens. But, I would imagine that steering wheels from the 84-85 will fit without issue on the 86-88, at the least. Also note that neither vehicle has power steering.
