Anyone else run into issues with the steering position sensor and turn signal indicator return upon installing an aftermarket hub adaptor?

I bolted the hub on and it would loosen the nut/ wasn't secure properly and the steering wheel position sensor caused that damn beeping.

I solved the position sensor issue if you look at the factory wheel it has a (pipe) sticking out that locks into the taper on the steering colum. So I went and found a spacer, cut it to approximate length, drilled a taper into one side and bolted the hub on bingo! Solved the beeping and sensor is now working.

The turn signal return is now not working (it was without the spacer) now the steering wheel hub doesn't apply enough pressure to the right spot to activate the turn signal return..
