Steering questions, HOWTO?

Ok, im trying to pull the tierod end out of the spindle assembly, how does one do this? i removed the codder pin and the odd shaped bolt and tried to tap out the bolt but it wasnt working, do i have to hit it harder or do i go about this another way

Yep, you gotta hit it hard. Best bet is to find another nut that will thread down on the stud there, then whack on that. If you whack the stud by itself, you can bend/distort threads.

Once you pop it loose, it should come right out.

If you bang directly on the bolt, you will mushroom the head of the bolt and you will be stuck and will have to file it back down to remove the nut.

Thanks, i got them both off, i just took off that nut, put it on upside down and had the top flush with the stud, hit it about 7 or 8 more times good and hard and they popped out

I got one spindle completly off and the other is comming slowly, i really hope i dont break one of these 10 grade bolts..
