Steering column u-joint replacement?

Anyone know if the u-joint in the steering column is replaceable? Mine has a lot of slop in it, and it makes a clunk when I turn the wheel.

I forgot to add that it's an tilt-adjustable column, and it's the joint just behind the steering wheel.

Are you sure its in the column. I would check everything else out first. I've never heard of the u-joint going out. I bet its something else.

It's the column joint. I have the column out of the car and can push the joint side-to-side on one axis where there shouldn't be any movement.
